Hand loomed early French linen damask tablecloth and 11 napkins with indigo embroidery and H monogram circa mid 1800s. This set consists of a tablecloth measuring 68.5 by 88 inches and 11 matching napkins 19 by 20 inches. The hems are hand stitched, the damask pattern has fleur de leis, scrolls and leaves, each napkin has a beautifully hand embroidered H monogram in indigo in one corner; the tablecloth has one large monogram centered at one end, the edges have a wide band of indigo blue hand embroidered leaves.
This set is in excellent condition. Typical of the old hand made French linens, these are weighty and substantial linens.
