The saucer is 5 ¼”; the cup is 2 1/8” by 3 1/8”.
The cup and saucer are ridged, showing as slight scallops on the saucer, so perhaps the blank is Diana or Henri II.
The ground is a raspberry pink, darker at the rim, and shading towards a lighter pink in the middle (or the bottom of the cup).
The overlay pattern is done in both yellow and white gold. The white gold looks like silver or platinum; however the Haviland company used white gold to give the same appearance. The design is one of flowers, scrolls and something resembling a shield.
There is a lot of wear to the gold trim on the cup circle of the saucer. There is wear to the gold trim inside the cup. There is stacking wear to the ridges of the saucer, so that the pink color is worn. There are no chips, cracks or crazing.
The green underglaze mark is H&Co underscored by L.
The brown overglaze factory decorating mark, or store mark, is Haviland & Co Pour C.A. Selzer Cleveland.
