Here we have an incredible French Paris dark amethyst art glass enamel hand painted gold footed vase.
Circa 1870 or earlier with incredible work all encircling this amazing piece. Incredible thick hand painted enamel work. There are Doves making a nest and using roses and other flowers.
Reminscent of old Paris porcelain vases but with fine art glass. This is rare as you just do not see this format on glass. Thousands and thousands of porcelain pieces but rarely glass. Thick as well and large.
Nice raised enamel bead work on gold at the base.
Standing 10 1/2" tall with a diameter of 6".
No chips, cracks or repairs.
