This plate is 12 sided and hand painted with lovely gold trim on the edge, highlighted by a beautiful Art Nouveau design of purple violets on gold gilt stems and light green foliage with gold gilt veining.
The design has a gilt artists mark that is hard to read. The underside of the plate bears an underglaze green "Limoges France" star shaped mark.
This beautiful antique plate is in fine condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing and less than expected wear to the decoration.
