The beautiful pink and red roses that adorn this plate are hand painted on a background of expertly shaded pastels in green, yellow, and peach. The scalloped rim is trimmed with gold gilding that is in mint condition. The plate is signed by Pickard Studio artist, Frederick Walters.
This 8.75" Limoges porcelain plate is double marked with the Klingenberg and Dwenger underglaze white ware mark, circa 1890s-1910, as well as the Pickard Studio decorating mark 4, circa 1903-1905, used at the carriage barn studio. The plate is in mint condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
