Enameled cranberry glass patch box from the late 1800's; it was probably made by Moser. The box is only 1 7/8" across and 1 1/8" high. The enamel is largely gold with blue, white and green accents with an unusual geometric design in the center and a delicate floral pattern around the edge.
The hinge, latch and bands are intact, solid and work fine. There are no cracks or chips. These little boxes under 2", particularly in cranberry, are extremely difficult to find.
