This diminutive translucent (guilloche) basse-taille enameled bowl is exquisitely decorated with four birds in flight and a circle of eleven smaller birds in the center of a shimmering gold-framed white quatrefoil. The outer section shows a garland of red roses on a light green ground. The sides of the bowl display red roses and gold birds in flight on a white ground. The bowl is finished with a gilt-silver rim and stylized foot.
The marks on the bottom are not clearly distinguishable.
