The glass is a deep cobalt blue. The enamel on top is white, gold, and pink - it's extensive and delicate portraying a bouquet of flowers with ribbon. There is a nice floral enameled pattern around the bottom.
The brass hardware is solid - clasp is in good working order and hinge is firm. The brass work is indicative of manufacture around 1900.
The box is 2 3/8" across and it is 1 1/4" high. There are no cracks or chips.
