This charming hand painted winter wildlife scene depicts a covey of quail or partridge seeking shelter on a snowy wooded hillside. Even the delicately descending snowflakes are visible in this masterful china painting!
Signed by the inimitable listed French artist ALFRED BRONSSILLON (also spelled BROUSSILLON in certain Limoges reference books), this plaque is in excellent condition, with authentic Limoges back stamp mark, as shown in photo.
Approximately 100 years old; this is an original art masterpiece upon antique Limoges porcelain...a superb investment in beauty for generations to come.
