This is a set of 12 quality pink double damask napkins with pink and cream hand embroidered monogram, circa 1930-40s. These napkins measures 26 by 28 inches, the hems are hand stitched, the damask pattern is floral with anemones, daffodils and other spring flowers; the beautifully hand embroidered monogram in the center reads FD or DF.
There is one tiny thin spot on the edge of one napkin and a bit of fray at one corner, they are otherwise in excellent condition. The linen has the soft substantial hand found in the high quality antique linens. Large napkins like this are rather rare in pink.
