The 12-piece service consists of 7 knives with gilt raised shell decoration at the end and molded cornice with acanthus leaves on the necks; 5 with mother of pearl and inlaid with gilt or gold almond shaped cartouches. All handles end with a cap of rosettes, scrolls and finials. The necks are all raised with fine acanthus leaves and beaded work.
Each measures 7 3/4" long and the vermeil is beautifully preserved.
They are in excellent condition with just two which have lost some pearl (as shown) over time.
