This jar is in excellent condition and measures 2 1/2" in diameter at the rim and stands 2 7/8" high.
The jar has intermittent parallel relief. The lid and base both have a band of gold. There is a gold band about one inch down from the rim. The lid finial is accented by gold. Both pieces have a ruffled blue ribbon. The jar blue ribbon is accented by purple and yellow pansies.
The green backstamp "Limoges France" is that of Castel as found in the Collectors Encyclopedia of Limoges and dates in the early 1900s.
