![]() Limoges Handpainted Roses Sugar & Creamer, 1894-1931
item # 91407E
This is a beautiful handpainted antique victorian Limoge creamer and sugar bowl. It is the highly collectable Limoges porcelain, featuring pink, yellow and burgundy cabbage roses. The detail of the roses, foliage and array of colors are masterfully painted on both sides of each piece by the artist "Morgan", as signed on the side of each piece. The original molds have raised (3-D) detail near the edge. Edges and handle are gilded and fully intact.
They are marked Haviland France Mark I in green on the bottom. This dates them 1894 to 1931. Both pieces are in excellent original condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing. Size: Creamer is 2 3/4" tall x 4 1/4"; sugar is 1 7/8" tall x 4 3/4".
