![]() T&V Limoges Hand Painted Lily Charger, Circa 1907-1919
item # 83670E
Tressemann & ?, Limoges France plate or charger is of the finest quality, hand painted with a lily garland, back grounded by a deep grass green border band, while the richest matte satin gold decorates the fancy lines of the rim.
Measures 10.25" across Condition is excellent, free of chips, nicks, cracks or repairs with little if any indication of use or wear, and only a very fine original surface firing split (about .25") along the edge. This does not penetrate the porcelain and affects neither appearance, form, function or integrity - simply a small crafting flaw. Carries the green "T&V Limoges France Depose" back stamp with "Hand Painted" in a magenta banner and the T&V Limoges bell - there is also an early Los Angeles importer's marking; however it difficult to decipher the name.
