![]() Haviland Limoges 'Rose/Gold' Berry Bowl, 1893-1930

This is a rare Haviland Limoges berry bowl in the Schleiger #72 pattern. The design is of draped roses and different colored flowers along the rim with almost a cameo effect with a large rose in the center and a heavy gold trim all around the edge. This bowl has a scalloped rim that is trimmed in gold and has a raised beading on the inner rim that is covered in gold and is in excellent condition. The marks on the bottom of the bowl are the over glazed Haviland and Co. over Limoges in red, and the green underglaze Haviland over France. The over glazed red mark is the Haviland mark #13. and the underglaze green mark is the Haviland mark #12 in the Collector's Encyclopedia of Limoges. These marks date this piece back to between 1893 to 1930.
