![]() Haviland Limoges Rose Dessert Plate, 1893-1930

The design is of singles & bouquets of colorful roses just under the gold rim that flows down into the body of the plate in several places with a single rose or bouquet in or near the center. The rose flowers are either wide open or partially opened buds. The colors are blended consisting mostly of multi-colored pinks touched with light blues and yellows and are all nestled on a bed of green leaves with smaller ones branching out on climbing green vines. This piece is in excellent condition and measures approximately 6 1/4" wide. The marks on the bottom of the piece are the over glazed Haviland and Co. over Limoges in red, and the green underglaze Haviland over France. The over glazed red mark is the Haviland mark #13. and the underglaze green mark is the Haviland mark #12 in the Collector's Encyclopedia of Limoges. These marks date this piece back to between 1893 to 1930.
