Jean Pouyat Limoges charger, 12 1/2" diameter, circa 1891-1932.
Round scalloped shape has fluted wide rim and deep well. Delicate multi-color floral pattern is around the rim.
Shell & scallop inner gilt border has light natural wear. There is heavily gilt bead and foliate scroll on the molded edge.
Green underglaze "J.P." over bar above "L" & "France" below, mark of Jean Pouyat, Limoges, France. Also has a green wreath decorating mark of Jean Pouyat & importing mark of retailer John Wanamaker.
There are no chips, cracks, hairlines, nor restoration.
