Produced by Farberware of Brooklyn, this design is very elaborate. It consists of a detailed floral design; maybe water lilies, and they are quite detailed and fine. It has a very nice serrated rim and hammered scrolled handle with riveted construction.
The plate, which is very nice in its own right, was produced by Triumph Limoges (American Limoges). It is trimmed in 22kt white gold and skillfully transfer decorated with a fruit compote loaded with fruit.
The plate measures 9 1/2" in diameter and the overall dimension of the basket is 13". Absolute excellent condition on this item.
