This beautiful antique Bavarian KPM charger or cake plate is hand painted with beautiful roses. The roses are painted pretty pink and yellow; the foliage is done in varying shades of green with pretty soft grey-blue background shadows. It is artist signed on the back F. Koch Bloss.
It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or crazing. The gold is in very good condition showing a small amount of wear.
It measures 9¾" from handle to handle and 9½" from top to bottom.
It is marked KPM Germany on the back; according to Kovel's book of marks this dates this piece to 1885+. This mark is from a porcelain manufacturing company in Bavaria Germany.
