This is a 3 part antique English plateau made by Elkington & Co., one of the premier Victorian silversmiths, and the inventor of electroplating in the 1830s. It has floral & medallion head decoration around the body and an oval mirrored center. It is a very unusual shape; It is crested and fully marked. This really is a very rare and highly decorative plateau, that will grace any table.
It is in excellent condition.
