This handsome three-sided tray or bon-bon dish measures 6" on each side and stands 3" tall to the top of the handle. The factory decorated piece is signed by the artist, Muffier. The tray has a heavily gilded handle, and the scalloped rim is decorated with a wide band of gold gilding. The bright pink flowers and mint green leaves are outlined with thin lines of gold gilt. Background colors range from a burnt orange to a soft, creamy yellow. The inner border of the tray has a ¼" wide band of mint green stem just inside the lovely gold border. The tray is double marked with the Elite Works underglaze white ware mark in green, used after 1900, and the Elite Works overglaze decorating mark in red, along with "Hand Painted" in brown, circa 1900-1914. This beautiful tray has no chips, cracks, or restoration. Mint condition.
