This dainty bowl is hand painted with white, pink, and burgundy roses and foliage on a background of creamy white, pale green, and soft yellow. The roses have raised enamel highlights, as do some of the leaves. The rim of the bowl is trimmed with lovely gold gilding. The piece is signed by French factory artist, Rancon. The bowl measures 7" long and just over 5" wide. It is double marked with the P. M. Mavaleix underglaze white ware mark in green, circa 1908-1914, and the George Borgfeldt overglaze decorating mark in green, circa 1906-1920. This charming piece is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs
