This is a beautiful sepia toned old photograph by M. B. Parkinson, entitled 'Cupid Awake'. His young model, Josephine Anderson, was the daughter of a friend, a single mother who worked and sometimes left her child in Parkinson's care. Josephine died in the 1970s.
In excellent condition; heavy wear to frame, worn spots to print.
