J.P.Limoges plate; standing at approximately 1". Dimensions are 8 1/2". Rimmed in a gold gilding with a ripple effect. Center-field is white, which blends in to a light pastel blue. Relief around the blue area is embossed with scrolls and swirls. Also adorning this plate is a relief of florals with light green leafs and stems. Gold gilded relief is raised.
No chips, cracks or crazing.
Mark from gaston encyclopedia of limoges.... Mark 5a, under-glaze white ware mark in green like mark 5, but with patent date over the initials. This plate is well over 100 years old.
