Victorian rose garland, Antique limoges tea cup & saucer , circa 1900, beautifully china painted with ruby roses against a delicate mint green background. The scalloped edge of the saucer lends special interest. This was painted by a professional French artist about 100 years ago who worked for the well-renowned French Porcelain Art Decorating Studio: Blakeman & Henderson, of Limoges, France. Excellent condition. This is a full size tea cup & saucer (not demi-tasse) and it is a double hallmarked set with each piece bearing the B&H overglaze decorating stamp in green, as well as Gaston's Limoges Mark # 4 in green (crescent moon between the words: Limoges France)
