Made by Baldwin & Jones of Boston, MA, circa 1813. The downturned coffin end handle has a period "AI" monogram on the front and "AB" on the reverse, all in script lettering. It is in excellent condition, with good crisp lines and very little wear. The workmanship is very good and made with a heavy gauge silver. No dings, dents, bends, other damages or repairs.
