This tray is signed 'C. ROCHETTE', circa 1890. It is painted in pastel colours with Venus and Cupid among clouds, a third putto at the left, and a basket of roses and a thyrsus at her side.
The bracket handles are moulded with berried vine, on four toupie feet.
Measures: 15 1/2" (39.4 cm) wide, overall.
