![]() Haviland Sugar Bowl with English Marks
item # AUT38JW
Here's a bit of a mystery piece: an English export porcelain that carries the marks of Haviland & Co, (H&C). Normally we think of Haviland as a French maker. So it's an interesting old piece apart from it's beauty and unique gilted rope triangular style.
Three-cornered 'rope' handles are all in fine condition, as is the overall bowl and its original lid. The only thing to note would be slight rubs to the gold, and a crack in the glaze only on the bottom, that is probably from the firing process. 6.5" tall, 6" from handle to handle
