Antique front section from a 3 section Chinese canopy bed; with five carved panels displaying fifteen different gold plated carvings; representing warrior scenes and floral motifs. There are two bottom side panels with three carvings each, and two upper side panels with four carvings each, depicting pattern design, floral motifs and warrior scenes. There is also a top central panel with one big carving of the same motif.
Excellent condition. this is a beautifully carved front which you can display on a wall, fit a mirror inside or use as a very original bed headboard. There are three metal holders in the back to hang it on a wall.
