An antique Rosenthal sugar bowl of finest quality, crafted from the favored "Moliere" mold with fancy pierced rim detail and softly blown out body.
Measures almost 4.5" tall with cover by 5" across with handles and is decorated with florals backgrounded by pastels. The pierced detailing as well as handles, finial and fancy embossed body decoration is finished in the pastel sage luster.
Condition is very good with only a tiny surface sliver at the tip of one of the raised pierced decorations at the rim, otherwise appears excellent with little indication of use or wear.
Carries the Rosenthal "BRC Moliere Germany" green crown backstamp with incised porcelain markings.
