 Limoges Floral Plate

This lovely plate is hand painted with pink, white, and deep pink apple blossoms and foliage on a shaded green background. The rim of the scalloped and beaded edge plate is trimmed with gold gilding that is in excellent condition. The plate is signed on the front by listed French factory artist, J. Marsay. The plate measures 8" in diameter and is marked with an unidentified mark, M. I. Co., Limoges, France. The mark might possibly be that of an American import company, as we could not find it in any of our Limoges reference books. The plate is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
