This handsome 7 ½" plate is hand painted with gorgeous fall currants and foliage in shades of deep red, crimson, peach, copper, and bronze. The scalloped rim of the plate is decorated with gold gilding that is in mint condition, showing no wear. The plate is marked with the Jean Pouyat underglaze white ware mark in green, circa 1890-1932. This fine example is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or restoration.
