Presented is a great sterling silver asparagus server by Whiting. This piece is in the popular Louis XV pattern. The flat server has an elegant script monogram of WEB on the handle. The server was probably produced near to the original patent date of the pattern, 1891. The server is hallmarked on the back with the Whiting maker's mark, Sterling, and Pat. 1891.
The server is in superb shape and there are no cracks, no breaks, no monogram removals, no repairs, and no problems of any kind.
The server is 9 3/4 inches long, and weighs 115 grams or 3.7 troy ounces.
