Late 19th Century plate from Austria featuring young cherubs at play. Seated amid the flowers, the two winged cherubs have their arrows and the third cherub (no wings) seems to be ready to toss a bucket of water on the others. Soft, muted colors.
The scalloped plate measures approximately 7 5/8" diameter and is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. There is wear to the gilt edge and minor wear to the surface.
