Each one has an oval Sevres porcelain plaque of a courting scene. The porcelain plaques are framed in an embossed gilt metal frame topped with a ribbon bow.
The porcelain plaques are signed on the back with the double crossing swords, the letter D in the middle and "France" underneath. The look is very much Louis XVI, very French.
The double-arm sconce is wired for electric use.
Dimensions are 11" arm to arm, 14" top to bottom, 5.5" front to back.
