An antique Rosenthal plate crafted from a fancy "Malmaison" blank and decorated with a duo of pink and white roses against a dramatic green blend background.
Measures a bit more than 9" across and is of excellent quality and craftsmanship - the mold has a fancy gold embellished sculpted rim with soft paneled affect, framing the center rose.
Condition is excellent, free of chips, nicks, cracks or repairs; with extremely limited wear in the gold, and a single fine surface scratch in the decoration which appears due to storage only as the finish and color are pristine.
Carries the Rosenthal "RC" Crown backstamp with Malmaison, Bavaria, the hand written gold number "58" and incised porcelain markings.
