There is an impressed indistinct uppercase mark, model no. 734UU, signed N. VIVIEN, circa 1878.
It is finely painted in resist with brightly plumed birds perched on flowering cactus, and a butterfly in flight below; the burnished rims are enriched with black tracery; and raised on the sabot feet.
Measures: 12in (30.2cm) diameter.
