This is a beautiful bright white organdy and linen Madeira tablecloth with hand embroidery, appliqué circa 1940’s. This tablecloth measures 65 by 100 inches; all the stitching is done by hand including the appliqué work; the design elements are lilies and other flowers in exquisite hand embroidery embellished with appenzel type petals and leaves giving them a 3 dimensional look; the embroidery is so fine you need magnification to see individual threads.
