R. John Wright Dolls is pleased to present the classic Commedia dell'arte fable of Columbine, Pierrot, and Harlequin. In 2006, Columbine was produced as a special event piece. True to the Commedia dell'arte storyline, Columbine's two handsome suitors - are now both competing for her affections: gentle Pierrot and haughty Harlequin.

Standing approximately 14" tall, both dolls are fully jointed and made entirely of the finest all-wool felt incorporating realistic sculptural torsos and limbs and compelling molded character faces with exquisitely hand painted features.

Harlequin is dressed in an elaborately-pieced felt Court Jester costume in shades of rose, cream and peridot green. He wears an authentic felt bicorne hat atop his mohair wig and a separate felt face mask. Cream colored cotton stockings, hand-cobbled felt and leather shoes, and a hand carved gilt wood sword, complete his dashing outfit.

Harlequin and Pierrot are both produced in a limited editions of just 250 pieces worldwide. Each will come enclosed in a deluxe RJW presentation box along with the accompanying signed and numbered certificate of authenticity and the forms for owner registration.
