Set has a very unique decoration, in that it is decorated with blooming pink roses. This is not the normal decoration with this type of porcelain cider set. The artist was quite talented in his work and even decorated with rims of the cups and the rim of the jug and the handle of the jug with heavy gold gilt.
This entire set actually consists of the cider jug and six (6) cups.
All of the items in this set are in superior condition with no chips, cracks, dings hairlines or repairs. There is a small amount of gold loss on the cider jug handle but this only attests to its age.
The cider jug measures 9" in diameter and stands 6" tall and each of the cups measure 2.75" in diameter and stand 3.75" tall.
The cider Jug is marked on the bottom with the familiar PL Green Logo while each of the cups is stamped Nippon.
